Combined Application of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) and Nitrogen Fertilizer Alters the Physicochemical Soil Properties, Nitrogen Uptake, and Rice Yield in a Polybag Experiment

Excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer during rice cultivation leads to progressive soil contamination in the long term and increases production costs. An alternative reduce over fertilization is partially replace with microbes that promote nutrition growth, such as arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). We investigated combination four different rates AMF (M): (M0: 0 g polybag−1, M1: 15 M2: 30 M3: 45 polybag−1) three (N) fertilizer: (N0: kg N ha−1, N1: 90 N2: 180 ha−1) on Trisakti cultivar cultivated polybag. Our findings indicate polybag−1 ha−1 decreased bulk density by 38.02% 37.24%, increased pH 14.81% 14.95%, porosity 60.68% 61.09%, organic matter 28.62% 30.46%, total 92.59% 89.66%, available phosphorus 30.12% 29.85%, potassium 3.75% 4.01%, plant height 19.19% 19.79%, tiller number 25.27% 26.08%, SPAD 20.71% 20.62%, flag leaf area 107.76% 108.02%, panicle length 49.72% 52.31%, 67.44% 72.35%, 1000-grain weight 30.70% 32.44%, root dry 54.34% 53.69%, shoot 26.08% 28.26%, 54.68% 56.44%, volume 42.73% 43.37%, uptake 107.93% 108.06% compared control early late seasons, respectively. Conclusively, combined physiochemical properties, productivity, alone, treatment.
